DAY 01 – Colombo

Colombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by your Guide, Representatives and transfer to Hotel at Colombo. Rest of the day at your leisure.

Colombo- the capital of Sri Lanka-is the largest city and main port of Sri Lanka. It is also the commercial and financial center of Sri Lanka. A bustling metropolis, the city is an attractive blend of old and new. It has the lazy charm of the bygone era combined with the verve and vivaciousness of a modern city.

Overnight stay at Colombo.

DAY 02 – Elephant Orphanage & Temple of the Tooth

Elephan Orphanage / Kandy

Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kandy. En-route takes a short break and visits the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Elephant Orphanage is a institution that has Been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died. Then you can watch the elephant’s bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed.

Then travel to Kandy En-route visit the Spice garden. In Kandy visit the Temple of the Tooth. And View a cultural dance in evening.

Kandy, last seat of the Sinhala Kings, is a very popular destination for visitors from home and abroad.

Overnight stay at Kandy.

DAY 03 – Tea Factory & Ramboda Waterfall

Tea Factory & Plantation

Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Nuwara Eliya. En-route visits a Botanic Garden, Tea factory, Tea plantation and Ramboda waterfall.

Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” has added cheer to many the world over for more than a century. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”)

An evening you will have a city tour in Nuwara eliya and visit the Gregory lake.

Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 04 – Hortain Plains & Kalani River

Hortain Plains

Breakfast at the hotel and leave Earlier morning you will Travel to hortain plains and have a brief walk (around 1 hour) and travel to kitulgala. Visit Kelani River & other attractions around kitulgala.

Horton Plains is a unique natural attraction in Sri Lanka. It is located in the highest plateau of the country and its known for its beautiful landscapes and rare plant and animal life. The Horton plains is one of the most important catchment areas in Sri Lanka which acts as a giant sponge which store rain water and then feed several major rivers of the country throughout the year. The vegetation mainly consists of wet grass lands and Montana forest. The weather at Horton Plains is quite dynamic. Average temperature varies between 5 degrees Celsius to 27 degrees Celsius.

The Kelani River (the broadest river in Sri Lanka) flowing through Kitulgala was the main location where the Oscar winning movie Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed.

Then travel to Nuwara Eliya and Checkout from the hotel and leave for Bentota / Beruwela south beach cost.

Check in the hotel and Overnight stay at Bentotata / Beruwela.

DAY 05 – Bentota Enjoy Your Beach Vacation

Breakfast at the hotel and Beach Stay with many choices of spending your time. Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere.

Lazing on a Sun deck reading a book of you choice, and sipping a cool fresh tropical fruit drink of pine apple, Mango, Banana.

Water skiing, Wind Surfing, Snorkeling or cutting through the choppy on a jet water scooter and much more.

Overnight stay at Bentota / Beruwela.

DAY 06 – Bentota

Colombo

Breakfast at the hotel and Depart in good time for your flight home, and from Weligama Bay to Airport, En-route visit the Galle Dutch fort and you will have a city tour in Colombo.

An ancient city which is now a modern and buzzing town today. It was the most important sea port way back in history, where the sea faring merchants arrived to trade and barter. This is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch. The fortress is one of the best preserved in the island. A visit to the fortress and to watch the sunset from the rampart is an experience unforgettable.

The oldest Protestant church in the country called the ‘Groote Kirk’ built by the Dutch is located inside the Fort. It is situated close to New Oriental Hotel also built by them as the Governor’s Residence in 1684 .
