DAY 01 – Sigiriya

Sigiriya

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by your Guide, Representatives and transfer to hotel at Sigiriya.

Travel to Sigiriya Check in the hotel and evening you will travel to visit the Sigiriya rock fortress. One of Sri Lanka’s most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites.

No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit.

An evening you can go for the elephant ride at Sigiriya. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

DAY 02 – Dambulla

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Dambulla and visit Cultural sites.

Located in the Matale district, Dambulla is part of the cultural triangle and is home to the world famous Dambulla cave temples. The cave temples complex that lies atop a massive hill on the edge of the town is one of the eight UNESCO world heritage sites in the country and is renowned for its unique mural paintings and sculptures. If you are not a history-buff, fret not, because there is more to Dambulla.

You can choose to visit the Minneriya National Park and head out for a safari ride to enjoy the sights of the many elephant herds that inhabit the sanctuary or increase the adventure quotient with a hike up the mystical mountains of Ritigala or a hot air balloon ride (available between November – May).

An evening you can go for the Village Tour at Sigiriya. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

DAY 03 – Kandy

Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kandy via Matale. En-route visits the Golden rock temple.

Golden Rock is a cave temple which dates back to the 1st Century .BC. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful frescoes which depict Buddhist mythology and the tales of the Buddha’s previous births. The caves house the largest collection of Buddha statues in one place. The small building is designed like a Hindu temple with a mandapa, an entrance hall (originally roofed), a short passage to a bare cello, and an ambulatory round the holy center.

There is no sign of Hindu gods, however, and the temple is said to have been used by Buddhists. This is one of the earliest buildings of stone constructed in Ceylon Then travel to Kandy visit the Matale spice garden, Kandy Temple & View a cultural dance in evening. Kandy, last seat of the Sinhala Kings, is a very popular destination for visitors from home and abroad.

DAY 04 – Haputale & Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Haputhale. En-route visits a Tea factory,Tea plantation and Ramboda waterfall.

Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” has added cheer to many the world over for more than a century. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. (Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”)

Overnight stay at Haputhale.

DAY 05 – Rawana Waterfall & Yala

Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Tissa.

Next day you will travel to Yala. En-route visit Ella gap and Ravana waterfall. Check in the hotel, an evening you will go for a game drive to Yala, one of the island’s most popular wildlife parks where you could see all most all the animals which is found in Sri Lanka. One of Sri Lanka’s premier eco tourism destinations lies 24km northeast of Tissamaharama and 290km from Colombo on the southeast coast of Sri Lanka, spanning a vast 97,878 hectares over the Southern and UVA Provinces.

The vegetation in the park comprises predominantly of semi-arid thorny scrub, interspersed with pockets of fairly dense secondary forest. Small patches of mangrove vegetation also occur along the coastal lagoons. The park is renowned for the variety of its Wildlife (most notably its many elephants) and its fine coastline (with associated coral reefs). It also boasts a large number of important cultural ruins, bearing testimony to earlier civilizations and indicating that much of the area used to be populated and well developed.

DAY 06 – Galle, Colombo, Negombo

Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Negambo. En-route visits a Galle Dutch Fortress & City tour in Colombo.

Colombo- the capital of Sri Lanka-is the largest city and main port of Sri Lanka. It is also the commercial and financial center of Sri Lanka. A bustling metropolis, the city is an attractive blend of old and new. It has the lazy charm of the bygone era combined with the verve and vivaciousness of a modern city. Then travel to Negambo and enjoy your beach vacation. Negambo is a characteristic fishing town north of Colombo, it is a more 6 Km from the international airport. Negombo is a gourmet’s paradise with sea food in plenty. Old world fishing craft like the outrigger canoe and the catamaran bring seer, skipjack, herring and mullet, pomfret & amber jack, while lobster & prawn are caught in the lagoon.

Overnight stay Beach resort at Negambo.

DAY 07 – Tour End
